Things are getting seriously busy! My "Guerrilla Guide to Recording & Production", which came out last year as a 2008 Issue is going to be updated to a 2009 edition. It's a magazine-style year book available from any decent newsagent (and you can also buy it directly from the website www.guerrillaguide.com.au) that's all about how to do music recording at home or, to be more accurate, in the kind of project studios you'll find everywhere these days. If you have anything to do with playing music ad want to make your own CD, this is the book for you. My own solo musician career is still doing okay. As long as people are still willing to pay me for sitting in a corner of their bar, play music and drink beer. I'll do it. Brilliant!
Good news from Germany. My novel Missing Pieces has been doing really well there and I HAVE been asked to come up with a new crime thriller to follow it up- in a hurry. So a few other projects are going to be put aside for a while. For those readers still hanging out for a new horror novel I've nearly finished putting together a collection of (kind of) short stories and novellas- all horror. I will still finish this very soon. These are stories that I reckon are good ideas, but didn't quite merit a full length novel, if that makes sense. One of them is 60,000 words long; hardly a bedtime read!
I'll again take this opportunity to thank all those German readers who are making Missing Pieces a success. A new book is on the way! Sorry I can't post anything here in German.

Hello? Hi! How are you? Thanks! About your email... and all the rest of those "spam" greetings.
It sucks, but there’s been so many nasty viruses spread around using these kind of innocuous subject lines (and I’ve been well and truly buggered by a few- it makes you wild) that I can no longer risk opening any emails with this sort of subject. If you’ve written recently and not been clear it’s a genuine letter, I probably deleted it straight away. Please, if you’d like to drop me a line to mail@graemehague.com.au put something in the subject line, maybe the title of one of my books, that makes it clear your email comes from a real person. Anything unique or spontaneous will do.
